Dropped this off at Pastor's office today. It's a white-parament fiddleback chasuble that we've donated to Zion Lutheran Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Nice post, thank you for sharing. Be honest i am not quite sure about the chasuble, i have read some information about it online. Your post will help me understand it better in the future, because i am interested in it.
I react somewhat enviously to blog posts like this.
God forgive me and bless you, your pastor, and the congregation to make this gift a useful thing in teaching the faith and revealing the glory hidden in the Sacrament of our Lord.
On two different occasions some ladies sitting in front of my grandma smirked at each other and rolled their eyes when Pastor entered the chanel wearing this chasuble. I'm wondering if I should remind them that it was donated as a memorial for my deceased grandfather.
